The FOIA gives you the right to access recorded information held by public sector organisations. Anyone can request information – there are no restrictions on your age, nationality or where you live. An organisation can refuse your request if the information is sensitive or the costs are too high. As a Limited Company wholly owned by HM Treasury, NWF is obliged to meet the FOIA requirements.
NWF will publish information on the decisions we take on our website, and more information on our portfolio and investee companies can be found on their websites. It is possible that the information you seek may already be published and, before making a request, you should check whether the information you require is already published.
To request information you cannot find on our website, you should:
- Put your request in writing, describing the information you are looking for as clearly as possible.
- Include your name and address so that we can reply.
- Send your requests via email to FOI@UKIB.org.uk or by post to NWF, 2 Whitehall Quay, Leeds, England, LS1 4HR.
Personal information requests
Individuals have a legal right to make a request to see a copy of the personal data that an organisation holds on them under data protection laws. This is known as a ‘subject access request’. For more information email DPO@ukib.org.uk.
The Bank’s publication scheme is currently being prepared and we will publish this in due course.
